Genkichi gives a new shape to the dead body, which is unbreakable and immortal, body made of steel, along with a talking sword, what Jintetsu will require the most to fight with the gang ruling over his hometown and the criminal who killed his father. However, he has left a beautiful girl behind, named Otsuki. Jintetsu’s steel body can protect him from any attack but cannot save him from the pain he is having in his heart.

Niwa, a college student of architecture, is moving into his deceased grandfather's house. He didn't know the man very well, but the house is conveniently close to school, and his grandfather was actually the architect who designed it. There's something unsettling about the house, though, and while he's wandering around, Niwa finds a mysterious old photograph of some girl who isn't his grandmother. Later, he goes along with his friend Akira to take drawings of another old house that's going to be demolished. As he meanders through this old house, he has a somewhat supernatural and startling experience. Are these feelings and occurrences a result of the souls of the buildings themselves, as Akira suggests? Or is there some even deeper mystery to Niwa's uncanny experiences?

Okumoto Momo is a first year student at an art school living on her own although she's close to her family. Maki Takano and his three best friends Ryo, Natsume and Mei are students at a private academy for highly gifted children. Robot is an all-color manga compilation compiled and edited by the elite manga artist Range Murata, character designer for Studio Gonzo's Last Exile and Blue Submarine No. 6. Murata's hand-picked contributors come together in a mind blowing experiment of what happens when top manga artists work in the unusual medium of color. Robot was partially published in English, the first three volumes by Digital Manga Publishing from September 19, 2005 to December 1, 2006, after which the license was taken over by Udon Entertainment, who published volumes 4 and 5 from December 1, 2007 to May 1, 2008, before they too dropped the license. It has been published in its entirety in French by Glénat.
